Common questions

Caregiver FAQ for Vancouver

Can I register if I live outside Canada?

Yes. You can create and publish your caregiver profile for free.

Does Care-Linked employ caregivers?

No. Care-Linked is an introduction service. You stay independent, and families contact you directly to agree on the work.

Can I choose how far I'm willing to travel?

Yes. You pick a service radius from 1 to 50 km around your area, and you can change it at any time.

Can I work only on the east side or west side?

Yes. Set your area on the side you prefer and pick a small radius.

Can families pay my transit fare?

Yes. Your profile can say that the family pays your transit fare.

Can I serve Vancouver and Burnaby?

Yes. A wider radius from east Vancouver can include parts of Burnaby.
