Privacy notice
What service providers give us
When you register as an independent caregiver, agency or community organization, we collect your name or business name, description, languages, experience, rates, availability, service preferences, and the first three characters of your postal code with the distance you are willing to travel. Premium Provider Profiles may also upload public photos and credential documents. Your email address and phone number are stored privately and never shown on the site — we use them to confirm your account and send you care requests.
What families give us
When you send a care request we collect your name, email, an optional phone number, what help you need and when. We pass this to the provider you contacted and keep a copy so we can see how the service is being used.
Search and voice intake
The postal code and details you enter are used to match you with nearby providers, community non-profits and government programs. To understand care demand and improve service in underserved areas, we keep an anonymous record of the general area (the first three characters of your postal code) and the service types you searched for, with a temporary browser session code that is not linked to your identity. We never record your full postal code, street address, age, health conditions, income or other personal details. If you use voice intake, your speech is turned into text inside your own browser — we never record, send or store any audio. We do not require an account and we do not build a profile of you.
Area notifications
If you ask to be notified when providers join your area, we keep your email, postal area and the provider types you chose, and use them only to send those notices. Every email includes a one-click link to stop them.
Cookies and local storage
Care-Linked does not use advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies, and no ad pixels. We only use essential browser storage to keep service providers securely signed in.
Website analytics
We count overall activity, such as daily visits and searches, with simple counters on our own servers. We never sell or share browsing activity with advertising networks or data brokers.
Payments
Premium payments are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Care-Linked never sees or stores your full card number.
Deleted listings
If you delete your listing, it stops appearing publicly right away. We keep a private record, including a one-way scrambled form of your email address, so we can tell when a previously removed listing is recreated. The scrambled form cannot be turned back into your email.
Who can see what
Published listings are public. Contact requests are visible to the provider they were sent to and to Care-Linked staff. Email addresses, phone numbers and private records are never shown to other users.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your listing at any time from your account, and stop area notifications from any notice email. To ask about the information we hold, contact us at support@care-linked.com.
